Apply for funding to support students working or studying abroad through the Turing Scheme

Through the Turing Scheme, the UK government provides education providers with funding to support their students to take up study and work placements around the world.

Funding is open to organisations in the UK and British overseas territories from across the education and training sector, including:

  • schools
  • further education (FE) providers
  • higher education (HE) providers

You can use this service to apply for funding for the 2025 to 2026 academic year.

The application round closes on 14 March 2025 at 16:00.

Accessing applications for the 2025 to 2026 academic year

If you are applying to the Turing Scheme for the first time, you can access the application form by either:

  • Using a DfE Sign-in account
  • Creating a Turing Scheme account
